Top 10 Games to Keep you Merry & Cosy Over the Holiday Season

Christmas trees, decorations, presents, food, holidays, time off, drinks, family, friends. Stop. Start again. The holiday season is at the door and all the magic (and stress) captures everyone for 2 weeks. It’s also a time when you can find an opportunity to do things that you do much less the rest of the year; playing games is one!
2017 has been a great year for GameAnalytics, team growth, product improvements, and many new amazing games that have used our tool and reached some record numbers.
The list is pretty long, and it wasn’t an easy choice, but here’s a list of our top 10 favourite games that we’ve enjoyed playing over the past year (and even longer for some!).

OK. Christmas is your time off – you probably don’t want to hear about any kind of work. Despite that, building your own mining empire could be a lot of fun!
This hit game by our Finnish friends has thousands of positive reviews on both iOS and Google Play stores. Time to get your hands dirty from your sofa.

If you like to keep practising your basketball skills on a sleepy Boxing Day, this is the best (and warmest) way to do that. FRVR has released many hit titles over the last year, but Basketball FRVR is definitely our favourite. Simple, polished and addictive. .
A simple and engaging interface and one basic goal, keep making those hoops!
8. Zombie Gunship

It’s Zombie-Apocalypse time and you need to save the world using your heavily-armed AC-130 ground attack aircraft. That sounds amazing, and it is!
A really enjoyable gaming experience and a fairly new addition to the genre that gives you a boost of adrenaline – even in the first levels.
7. Last Day on Earth

A great hit out of the blue by the Russian studio Kefir.Last Day on Earth is a FREE MMORPG zombie shooter survival and strategy game, where all survivors are driven by one target: stay alive and survive as long as you can in this post apocalypse game where you shoot walking dead zombies.
6. Zombie Catchers
Developed by Two Men and a Dog
Another invasion, more zombies!
A fun game by Two Men and a Dog studio that reached the top 10 games in 90 countries. It sees you earn profit by killing monsters. Money in the bank.
Reviews of users are super positive and people actually ask for more levels and more capsules to make it more addictive. Well done!
5. Dune
Developed by Voodoo
Another worthwhile mention is Dune! It sees you manipulate the gravitational pull of a comet on a beautifully visualized space backdrop.

Snake VS Block is probably my personal favourite. It’s a smooth and engaging experience that will keep you entertained for each play.
